no!no! is completely painless.
When should I start to notice the long-term results?
Some people start to notice the affects after just a few treatments, for others, it may take up to 2 months. However, the average period is between 4-6 weeks.
What preparation is necessary before I use no!no!?
Just make sure your skin is completely clean and dry before you begin treatment.
How do I do a no!no! treatment?
Glide the no!no! at a steady pace across your skin in a smooth shaving motion without stopping or starting. Glide it towards your body and/or against hair growth. The guide light should remain lit and steady. This lets you know you are gliding at the proper pace for the best results. For example, when treating your arms, start at your wrist and pull it towards your elbow in one steady, smooth motion, making sure the green light stays lit.
When you finish each section, use the Buffer to exfoliate your skin and remove treated hair to leave your skin feeling soft and smooth. Buff in a firm circular motion the areas that you have just treated. When you have finished buffing, moisturize your skin with no!no! Smooth™ or other non-astringent cream.
Why do I need to Buff?
Buffing is an essential part of the no!no! treatment. It exfoliates the skin and removes crystallized, treated hair for a smooth finish. Without proper buffing, skin may feel rough and stubbly.
Why does it smell?
no!no! uses Thermicon™, a heat-based technology, that singes the hair down to the root. The smell of burning hair lets you know that no!no! is doing its job. As you continue with the no!no! treatment and less hair grows back, the smell will also lessen.
What can I do about the smell?
Although the smell of a no!no! treatment is not pleasant, it is a sign that it is working properly!. Try aromatic candles or potpourri to help cover the smell. Applying no!no! Smooth skin lotion after use will not only keep skin moisturized and smooth, it will also help to mask the unpleasant burnt hair smell.
How often should I no!no!
We recommend you use no!no! 2-3 times a week for the first 4-6 weeks. After that, use only when necessary.
Does no!no! remove hair from large areas like chest and back?
Yes.
Does no!no! replace shaving?
Absolutely YES!
Can I shave and use no!no! at the same time?
You can shave and no!no! at the same time, but this will affect results and how quickly you can achieve hair reduction. If you continue to shave, wait for 1mm of hair regrowth before using no!no! It is best to shave after a no!no! treatment, not before.
Does no!no! work on all skin complexions?
YES!!! no!no! does not use light; therefore it works safely on all complexions.
Does it work on all color hair? Gray, white or blond?
YES!!! no!no! does not use light; therefore it works for all hair colors.
Can no!no! be used on long hair?
The maximum recommended length for effective hair removal is 3mm long.
Does no!no! work on coarse or thick hair?
no!no! works just as well on thick, coarse hair as it does on thin. However, because of the nature of coarse hair, results may take a bit longer to become noticeable.
Will hair grow back?
Yes, some of it will. However it will grow back in looking thinner and finer. If you stop using no!no!, hair growth may eventually return to its previous pattern.
Does the hair take longer to grow back?
Thermicon™ technology directly affects the hair follicle and to delay and disrupt future hair growth.
How often do I need to use no!no!?
We recommend using no!no! 2-3 times a week for the first few weeks. After about 2 months, you may only need to use no!no! once a week - even less as time goes on, if you stick to the treatment.
Can I use it everyday?
We do not recommend using no!no! everyday. Hair regrowth will not be sufficient for a successful treatment (1mm minimum length). You will only use up your Thermicon™ Tips and have to replace them more often. We recommend you wait for at least 1mm of hair regrowth before doing a no!no! treatment.
Why don’t I see less hair after using is for a week or two?
no!no! takes time and patience. Hair does not all grow in the same place at the same time. Please refer to the hair-growth biology section for more information. You should begin to see results after 6-8 weeks.
Will I have to use it 2-3 times a week forever?
No. We recommend using no!no! 2-3 times a week during the initial stages (2-3 months) of use. With time, you will need to use it less often.
What happens when I finish my no!no! treatments?
Skin and hair are dynamic and ever-changing. Therefore you don’t really finish no!no! treatments. What you will do is reduce usage per week and month.
How long do results last?
After 3-5 months of no treatments, hair might return to pretreatment values. You can easily maintain results with continued use of no!no!
Is the no!no! treatment likely to lead to a permanent hair removal?
There is no such thing as PERMANENT hair removal (with the exception of electrolysis). However, Clinical studies noted a marked reduction in hair growth when no!no! was used for over 6 weeks.
Can no!no! give you skin cancer?
No. no!no! does not use any form of radiation.
Is it safe to use no!no! while pregnant?
Please consult your doctor before using no!no! during pregnancy.
Will no!no! harm or affect my tattoos in any way?
no!no! does not use light and should not affect tattoos. However, since there is not enough clinical data, we do not recommend using no!no! on tattooed areas.
Are there any side effects like bumps, pimples and redness?
Clinical studies show no lasting side affects associated with the proper use of no!no! like bumps and pimples (See the sections on the Slow Glide and Buffing). However, Thermicon™ technology uses heat, and in some cases, sensitive skin may experience temporary redness which fades within hours. Applying lotions like no!no! Smooth after a treatment will help keep skin moisturized and healthy.
Can guys use no!no!?
no!no! can be used by both men and women..
Can I use it for hormonal hair growth?
no!no! will remove hair, but you may not get the same lasting results as when treating regular hair growth. In cases of hormonal hair growth, please consult your physician.
What's the difference between no!no! and professional salon or spa treatments? i.e.: wax, electrolysis or laser?
